It is not very often that I would have 5 patients with the same complaint in one day. Well, today I had 5 patients whom I have seen in the last week all of whom originally complained of vertigo: dizziness, room spinning and the accompanying difficulties that come along with it. In some of these cases, this type of a headache was cervicogenic, meaning that the joints in the neck were not working correctly, compromising the function of the nerves exiting and supplying the head including the ear. In other cases, there was a definite presence of infection that the patient was fighting, let’s say a cold. The amazing part is that in all five cases, the dizziness was completely gone after just one chiropractic adjustment!
