Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate are on many packaged products. If it comes from a box, a can or a wrapper read the labels and see if these two items are listed.  If yes, Doctor Olga recommends not to consume them for the following reasons.

Sodium Benzoate
•    E211
•    When combined with ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and potassium benzoate form Benzene, which is a carcinogen (causes cancer)
•    Could also cause hyperactivity in children

Potassium Sorbate
•    E202
•    Genotoxic and mutagenic to human cells.  Genotoxic means, toxic to our genetic makeup.  Mutogenic means, crates mutations in the DNA, which is another way of saying carcinogenic or cancer causing.
•    Toxic to human DNA
•    Suppresses immunity
•    When combined with ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and iron, it forms other mutagenic compounds that damage DNA molecules
